Storming the Stacks

Volunteers gang up on misplaced and misfiled books.

Storming the Stacks

Many hands make light work!

An energetic group of volunteers from the group Young Single Adults of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pendleton spent an evening helping the Library with an ongoing housekeeping issue: shelf-reading.  With thousands of books coming and going from the shelves every month, keeping things in apple-pie-order takes many sets of willing hands.

Volunteers are always needed for this, and other library tasks.  If you are interested in becoming a Library Volunteer, click on "Volunteers at Pendleton Public Library" at the top or left side of this page for more information.  Or, call the library at 966-0380.  The next volunteer training sessions will be held in October.
